Meet Sylas
The person who writes them, and why every one is written by hand.

How this started
I started writing prayers for other people by accident. A friend was going through a divorce and could not sleep, and I did not know what to say to her, so I wrote it down instead and gave it to her on a piece of paper. She kept it in her bag for a year. That is genuinely the whole origin — no calling, no vision, just not knowing what to say out loud and finding I could say it on paper.
[Replace the paragraph above with your own version. Keep it this plain. Whatever actually happened is more convincing than anything you could invent, and people can tell the difference immediately.]
After that, people started asking. A neighbour before surgery. Someone whose son had stopped speaking to him. A colleague who was not religious at all and wanted something for her mother's funeral anyway. I wrote them all by hand and never charged anybody, and eventually there were more requests than evenings.
This shop exists because charging a small amount is the only honest way to keep doing it properly. It means I can take the time each one needs instead of rushing a backlog at midnight.
What I actually do
You choose an offering and fill in a short private intake. You write what you are carrying, in whatever words you have for it, at whatever length you want. Some people write two lines. Some write three pages. Both are fine and both get the same attention.
Then I read it properly — all of it, before I write anything — and compose the prayer around what you actually said. Not around the category you picked. If you told me about your mother's garden, the garden is in it. That is the entire difference between this and a template with your name dropped into the top.
Within 24 to 48 hours you get the whole package back by email: the prayer itself, a short note explaining what I built it around and why, one affirmation worth keeping, and a card formatted so you can print it and put it somewhere you will see it.
What I am not
I am not ordained, and I do not represent a church, a denomination, or any religious institution. I am an independent practitioner who writes prayers. If what you need is a minister, a priest, or a pastor, you should have one, and I would rather tell you that than take your money.
I am not a therapist, a doctor, or a counsellor, and nothing here is a substitute for any of them. Plenty of people do both. If something in your intake tells me you need clinical help, I will say so plainly and point you toward it.
And I will not promise you an outcome. Not love returned, not money arriving, not a diagnosis changed. Everything here is offered for reflection and spiritual expression. Anyone selling you a guaranteed result is selling you something else, and you should be careful with them.
What I will not write
Nothing aimed at another person's will — not to make someone love you, come back, leave somebody, or change their mind. A prayer for a relationship names what you hope for. It is never pointed at anyone else.
Nothing touching health outcomes, medical decisions, legal cases, or gambling. If you order one of these by mistake I will refund you and tell you why, rather than quietly writing something vague.
Practical things
Privacy. What you write is read by me and nobody else. It is never shared, never sold, and never used as an example — including on this website.
Refunds. If what arrives is not what you needed, write to me within 30 days and I will refund you. You do not have to explain yourself.
Time. 24 to 48 hours after your intake. If it is going to be longer, you will hear from me before the deadline, not after it.
[Add here: how long you have been doing this, anything you have studied, and the tradition you write from if you have one. Keep it factual and checkable. If you have no formal training, say so plainly — that is a perfectly good answer and far better than a vague one.]
If you are carrying something, say so.
You do not have to know which one you need. Write to me first if you would rather — I will tell you which I would choose, at no cost and with no obligation to order anything.
